Ceres Mission: ‘To fall in love with the earth again’. CERES, Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies, is an award winning, not-for-profit, sustainability centre and our umbrella organisation.
CERES is a place for community-based learning and action to create environmentally beneficial, socially just, economically satisfying, culturally enriching and spiritually nurturing ways of living together. CERES Environment Park is built on a 10 acre decommissioned municipal tip on the banks of the Merri Creek in East Brunswick, Melbourne. CERES was built on the passion and commitment of the local community and is recognised as an international leader in community and environmental practice. Each year over 470,000 people connect with CERES either through visiting the park or through our off-site education programs. CERES Fair Wood is one of many social enterprises to come out of CERES.
